Hello and welcome. Acorn and Oak was founded by Cornelia, a professional organizer and decluttering coach based in Atlanta. Ever since she can remember, she’s had a natural inclination toward tidying and organizing. As a child, she would often entertain herself with organizing tasks— sorting everything in her mom’s purse during long car rides, or insisting on being the one to sort the family mail after a vacation. While working in kitchens and schools in her early twenties, she would often see opportunities to improve the organization of these spaces and offer her assistance.
Then, through a series of serendipitous events, she learned that professional organizer was actually a job title, and that she could turn this beloved skillset into a full-time vocation. Since then, she and her team have had the privilege of working with many clients all over the metro Atlanta area, helping them create more calm and order in their lives and homes.
It is incredibly rewarding to witness the sense of peace that comes when every item in a home has a designated spot, or when someone gets to throw away a completed to-do list. We are honored that people trust us to come into their spaces and support them throughout these processes.
